Hamilton: an open source, declarative, micro-framework for clean & robust feature transform code in Python

Stefan will present Hamilton an open source Python micro framework that solved his team's pain points by changing their working paradigm.

About this session

At Stitch Fix, a data science team’s feature generation process was causing them iteration & operational frustrations in delivering time-series forecasts for the business. In this talk Stefan will present Hamilton, a novel open source Python micro framework, that solved their pain points by changing their working paradigm.

Specifically, Hamilton enables a simpler paradigm for Data Science & Data Engineering teams to create, maintain, execute, and scale both the human side and the computational side of feature/data transforms. Tune in to hear what Hamilton is, what it looks like to use it, what benefits it provides, how you can get started with it, and where it's going.
